TOP PROVENCE WEDDING VENUES, SOUTH OF FRANCE
Well, I thought I’d make the dream a little easier by recommending some of the best wedding venues in the South of France. The Provence is one of the most spectacular areas of France to have your wedding in, the weather is glorious, picturesque landscapes, gourmet food, quirky villages, good wine and of course magical wedding venues.
1. The Farm Provence, Grasse, Côte d’Azur
If you’re planning a more intimate day then The Farm is one of my favourite venues in the Cote d’Azur. An 18th century Bastide tucked away in the hillsides above Grasse, the famous Capital of Perfumes, with pastel green shutters, panoramic views and an Oliverai.
For the wedding ceremony, the perfect spot is in the shade amougst the Olive trees, for that classic mediterranean feel. After saying ‘I do’, you and your guests can enjoy drinks and canapés by the pool area. Whilst the dinner can take place on the main terrace with the Bastide standing proudly behind.
The Farm accommodates up to 18 people in 8 bedrooms . The owner of the venue also offers a discounted rate on the rooms of one of his hotels located just 10 min away, which can sleep up to 32 people.

2. La Bastide de Gordes, Luberon, Provence.
Of course I’m a little biased here as I’m lucky enough to live in the beautiful Luberon area but still, La Bastide de Gordes is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Provence.
Owned by the truly world-class Airelles group, La Bastide de Gordes sits high in the heart of the village of Gordes. Set into the cliffs with spectacular views of Luberon valley. There are plump velvet armchairs, thick wooden beams and even suits of armour at every turn, and to complete the picture the staff even wear uniforms appropriate to the period. With a variety of spaces both indoors and out, a fantastic restaurant and scenery to die for, it’s the perfect venue to say I do and celebrate with all your loved ones.
3. Mas Peyloubet, Grasse, Côte d’Azur.
If you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue in the French Rivera with incredible sea views and tons of Provence charm then look no further than Mas Peyloubet. Owned and run by a charming English couple who have lovingly renovated the 18th-century farmhouse. Approached by a long, winding driveway and surrounded by a hectare and a half of terraced olive groves, fig and orange trees and exquisitely landscaped gardens, this restored mas has everything you’d hope for in a Provence wedding venue.
It’s near a glut of gorgeous villages including Mougins, Valbonne, Cannes and a 45min drive from Nice international airport. There are shutters, Juliet balconies and bougainvillea galore. The stunning courtyard is framed with stone arches, colourful shutters and panoramic views over the bay of Cannes and is the obvious spot for the wedding ceremony. There’s a raised pool terrace which is the perfect location for the cocktail hour and the house has eight bedrooms to accommodate up to 14 guests.

4. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, French Riviera.
Located between Nice and Monaco, overlooking the prestigious peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is a breathtaking venue to get married in! Built during the ‘Belle époque’ period by Baroness Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, it is surrounded by nine magnificent gardens overlooking the sea: the Spanish, Florentine, Stone, Japanese, Exotic, Rose, Provencal, French, and Sevres gardens. The meticulously decorated rooms of the Villa contain the Baroness’s rich collections: porcelain from the Manufacture Royale de Sevres stands side by side with Gabefins tapestries, masterpieces of art, and antique furniture. Perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Cocktail and dinner capacity 350 guests outdoor.
5. Chateau de Tourreau, Sarrians, Provence.
Tucked away in a small town outside of Chateaunuef-du-Pape, Sarrians and is one of the most sought after wedding venues in Provence! And, for good reason. The château sits on a 20-acre estate where guests can enjoy the six salons, infinity swimming pool, tennis court, plus squash & fitness area. The drive into the property is framed with a path of century-old trees which is a perfect spot for some beautiful photos. It even has an onsite chapel for your intimate ceremony!
The Chateau can accommodate 29 guests- 15 in the main house and 14 in the guest house. Other guests will have a large range of hotels, B&Bs and holiday rentals to choose from in nearby villages. The minimum rental period is 4 days and 3 nights.
6. Château du Seuil, Puyricard, Provence.
You can’t go wrong with this Provence château surrounded by vineyards, a woodland backdrop and a 300 hectare domain. The castle’s courtyard and gardens offer a beautiful setting for your cocktail receptions, aperitifs or brunches. The garden can host 100 guests; the courtyard up to 200. The recently built Orangery is a space located next to the castle. With over 4.300 sq. ft space, air conditioning, seating capacity of 250, this is a good option to host the dinner or dancing.
Located in the Puyricard territory, Château du Seuil is a 25min drive from the lively and graceful Aix en Provence city with access to the AIX TGV. Marseille airport is just 30minute drive also, so it’s a great location for international guests to get to.
